Title, pretty sure we all love Falcom's JDK band, which plays a variety of genres in the games but leans on something like power metal as its main schtik. Just curious w hat you all folks like as music... share something unusual, not FF7's OST, or the Beatles, or Bach. Something few people know that you love, musically of course.
I do enjoy a few power metal bands, Rhapsody, Luca Turilli, Vision Divine, Edguy, probably missing a couple (just a couple, power metal isn't my main genre), but my main thing is black and death metal, but I like 'pretty' black and death metal, which is a bit odd since they are generally supposed to sound brutal or rough. I know a couple 'pretty' examples that are probably relatively mainstream given my musical tastes, BUT here's an album from a band that I literally never ever heard anyone ever mention once in my life that I like. Please share yours

Of course! Part of the enduring appeal of Falcom games is the consistently great soundtracks. The live (instrument) albums in particular are always wonderful. the live arrangement of inevitable struggle is one of the greats, many others like sophisticated fight come to mind https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lkaTGNE5ds .
One of my favourite bands though would have to be sound horizon, the sometime solo but more often collaborative project of REVO. ive linked one of my favourites that really shows the range in the song. That is to be expected though, as the songs are supposed to be story drive.
