Well color me shocked, just days after Ys IX releases in English we're getting a Switch port of another Falcom game... sort of. It's a port of the mobile game Advanced Sorcerian, making it a port of a (third-party) port so it's a bit removed from Falcom directly. Even so, it's Sorcerian and that's something to be happy about.
The game includes the same set of scenarios as the old mobile game, meaning fourteen of the fifteen classics (I assume that 'Romancia' was dropped for licensing reasons) with the gap being filled in by an original one called 'Forest of the Unicorns'. It also includes the expansions Sengoku Sorcerian and Pyramid Sorcerian.
Since Japanese mobile games were out of my reach I'm pretty excited to see this original scenario, not to mention a chance at playing all the others with G-Mode's graphic changes. Now maybe if it does well Falcom will consider doing their own remake in the future...
